We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide information about products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience.
  • Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash, credit, or debit payments.
  • Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by ensuring products are displayed correctly.
  • Assist in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
  • Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
  • Experience operating a cash register and processing payments efficiently.
  • Knowledge of stock management practices to maintain an organized sales floor.
  • Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to sell products through effective communication and customer engagement techniques.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer groups.
  • Experience in product demos is beneficial for showcasing product features effectively.
