Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.

• Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Match purchase orders and receipts with invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve invoice or payment issues with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all payables and related documents.
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports as needed.

• High School diploma preferred.
• 0-1 years accounting experience preferred, including Accounts Payable.
• Computer skills, including spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in MS Office, excel; experience with accounting software a plus.
• Accurate data entry skills.

• Typical office environment.
