Insurance Claims Specialist

Job Description

• Manage insurance claims from inception to resolution, overseeing daily workload and conducting thorough property damage assessments.
• Investigate insurance claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, handling property claims involving damage to buildings, structures, contents, and/or property damage.
• Evaluate damages to determine appropriate settlement, negotiating settlements and uploading completed reports, photos, and documents using specialized software systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces.
• Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in insurance claims or related field is a plus but not required.

Salary : $45,000 - $85,000
