Information Systems Security Officer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. As an ISSO, you will be responsible for maintaining the security posture of our organization's information systems and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, Linux certification, and experience working with SuSE or Red Hat Linux. Additionally, they will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
In this role, you will assist in enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures, support the development and implementation of our cybersecurity program, and ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity publications. You will also be responsible for configuring network software parameters, resolving connectivity issues, and recommending hardware and software solutions to improve our security posture.
