**Radiologic Technologist Job Summary**
">We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing x-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.**Job Responsibilities:**
- Prominently greet patients when entering the waiting area, exam room, or laboratory or x-ray room.
- Communicate with patients on wait times, provide direction to the next step in the treatment process.
- Recognize emergent/hazardous situations and seek help when necessary.
- Follow up with patients after treatment with urgency.
- Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/check-out procedures as needed.
- Accurately document patient vital signs, weight, take brief history, past medical, family, and social history, current medications, allergies, and other pertinent historical information.
- Transfer patients safely.
- Perform radiology procedures under the direct supervision of a provider.
- Document required information related to patient visits.
- Timely perform radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.
- Maintain quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while ensuring safety and proper radiation protection techniques.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report malfunctions to management.
