Smog Technician Job Description

At our garage, we are looking for an experienced professional to perform smog checks on vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cars and excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting emission tests, diagnosing and repairing emission-related issues, and ensuring that vehicles meet state and federal emission standards. They will also be required to maintain accurate records of vehicle information and provide prompt and courteous customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have a driver's license
• Must have Smog Technician certification
• Must have reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

This position works in a garage environment 100% of the time. Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces, and hot-cold temperatures.
