Job Title: Locums Pathologist for a Busy Department

Description:

We are seeking an experienced pathologist to provide locum coverage in our busy pathology department. The ideal candidate will have a Monday-Friday schedule with flexible hours and be responsible for grossing complex specimens for 1-2 hours daily, as well as interpreting biopsies in breast, prostate, dermatology, esophageal, and colon cases.

Responsibilities:

• Grossing Complex Specimens:
• Responsible for preparing and processing complex specimens for histopathological examination.
• Interpreting Biopsies:
• Accurately interpret biopsy results in various specialties including breast, prostate, dermatology, esophageal, and colon cases.
• Independent Work:
• Work independently with no pathologist assistant on staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-Month Commitment
