As a key member of the healthcare team, a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, PTAs provide rehabilitative treatments in various settings and assist with developing effective therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient treatment under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to state practice guidelines and industry standards.
• Collaborate with PTs to identify patients requiring rehabilitation services and facilitate seamless referrals to relevant programs.
• Accurately document patient progress on weekly notes, ensuring timely completion and obtaining necessary signatures from supervising PTs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient condition, treatment plans, and outcomes, providing valuable insights for future care delivery.
• Work closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
