Primary Care Physician Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Emporia, VA. The position offers flexibility with a schedule of three eight-hour shifts weekly, providing care to a diverse population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients
- Perform necessary outpatient procedures, including minor laceration suturing and newborn care
- Manage patient documentation using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with virtual coverage from internal medicine physicians
- Respond to inquiries regarding care and treatment options
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care
- Experience in adult outpatient services, pediatric care, and minor surgical/psychiatric procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a rural healthcare setting
