We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team in Central Virginia.
Job Description
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists work with children who have special needs to help them achieve their full potential in a fun, creative, and loving environment.
As a full-time Pediatric SLP, you will provide a blend of early intervention, school-based, and clinic-based services to a diverse population of children. This may include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing documentation and progress updates to families, school teams, and early intervention staff.
Your responsibilities will also include collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, delivering therapy in a variety of settings, and making a lasting difference in children's lives through creativity, patience, and play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing documentation and progress updates to families, school teams, and early intervention staff
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists
- Deliver therapy in a variety of settings: clinic, home, and school
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure (or eligibility) to practice in Virginia, and a strong foundation in communication, phonological, and oral-motor disorders. A compassionate, playful, and motivated personality is essential for this position, as is excellent documentation and communication skills.
