Job Description:
Our organization has transformed the way students travel to and from school. Our cutting-edge platform provides a seamless experience for schools, parents, and drivers alike.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing field trips and charters, ensuring accurate pricing and thorough record-keeping. You will also plan and optimize bus routes to enhance efficiency and reduce travel time, fuel costs, and ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
Additional responsibilities include entering and maintaining trip data and routing details in our database system, assigning drivers to routes and trips, and generating and reviewing trip and routing reports for management.
You will also coordinate with customers to invoice trips, track payments, and resolve inquiries or issues promptly. Furthermore, you will handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll tasks related to charter and field trips.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level coursework preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer service environment or routing/transportation management.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and routing software tools.
- Ability to respond professionally to inquiries from customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in route planning and optimization preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the greater local area.
