What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker - Behavioral Health position at Becker County?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a graduate from an accredited four-year college with a major in social work, phycology, sociology or a closely related field
- Be a graduate from an accredited four-year college with a major in any field and one-year experience as a social worker/case manager/care coordinator in a public or private social service agency
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
DUTIES:
Primary focus of this position is to meet the mandate of the State of Minnesota to administer waiver programs (CAD/BI) and provide ongoing case management services to individuals with physical and mental health disabilities under the age of 65. Duties include creating service plans as well as referring , coordinating, and monitoring the services and outcomes. This position has other duties as assigned.
Must complete 10 hours of case management education and disability-related training each year. The education and training must include person-centered planning.
Compensation:
$29.97 - $39.37 per hour; starting wage DOE. The position is eligible for a wide range of competitive benefits, including state pension plan, vacation time, sick time, personal and holiday leave time. In addition, the position is eligible for the County's cafeteria health plan, consisting of three health plans and carrier options; Dental, Vision and Lift Insurance; Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts; Long-Term and Short-Term Disability; Supplemental Accidental, Hospital, and Critical Illness plans,; and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The County contributes monthly health benefits to aid in the rising of insurance costs with the contribution rate evaluated annually. Additionally, employees haf the option to take part of the contribution as cash in lieu of benefits.
