Under direction of the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and timely processing and recording of the company's weekly payroll. You will provide timely and accurate financial information and participate in weekly data entry Payroll processing. You will need to be detail oriented, ensuring all applicable laws and regulations are always followed.

What You'll do:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and timely
- Respond to payroll-related questions to internal and external customers promptly
- Strong attention to detail, focus, and follow through
- Educate, train, maintain, and hold department accountability and professionalism through crucial conversations and timely documentation
- Work with managers and employees to correct timecard errors
- Prepare timecards to be locked and committed each pay period
- Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors
- Preparing payroll reports for the Accounting department
- Generating payroll G/L entries and maintaining of G/L
Skills Needed:
- High School diploma required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 year Payroll or HR experience
- ADP experience a plus
- Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to read and speak clearly in English
- Self-manage with moderate supervision
- Exceptionally organized with task and time management
