Job Description
This is a full-time role for a skilled Construction Laborer / Welder at Beckley Crane & Construction. As a Laborer/Welder, your day-to-day tasks will include performing various roles including manual labor, operating machinery and equipment, assisting in construction projects, and maintaining a clean and safe work site. This is an on-site role located in Beckley, WV.
Experience Necessary:
- 2 years welding experience
- Experience in welding, cutting and mechanical work
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, comparable trade school or apprenticeship experience a plus
Qualifications
- Experience in performing manual labor and operating various power tools and machinery
- Experience in Welding
- Have good fabrication and welding skills
- Recognize problems and offer solutions as they relate to your job and work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength
- Knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Ability to work safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
- Must be able to pass random drug testing
- All paperwork and safety training required to work on mine property is a plus.
- MSHA and OSHA certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
