What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Technician position at Beckley Sanitary Board?
The Beckley Sanitary Board (BSB), a leading Southern WV wastewater/stormwater utility is seeking to fill an open position for a Utility Technician. The position involves all aspects to support the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of sanitary and storm sewer systems. Job duties may also include vehicle, equipment, and building maintenance tasks. Preferred candidates will have prior construction experience including experience with pipeline installation, the operation of common excavation/construction equipment, and have a valid commercial driver’s license. Minimum education is graduation from high school or GED equivalent. Must pass a physical exam and meet the physical requirements of the position. Only qualified applicants will be considered.
