BECO Asset Management, LLC is seeking a full-time MaintenanceTech for its apartment community in Suffolk, Virginia. The opportunity is immediately available with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; including shared on-call rotation evenings and weekends to respond to emergency calls. Responsibilities Include:
- Keep grounds and common areas free of trash and debris, change light bulbs and filters
- Keep dumpsters and corresponding areas clean and in good working order
- Clean and maintain pool and pool area
- Assist in preparing all vacant apartments to market ready condition
- Assist in responding to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Perform on-call emergency services as required (rotation shared with the maintenance team)
- Available for night/weekend on-call duty (generous call pay)
- Ability to work in any type of weather (cold, snow, heat, rain, etc.)
- Building Maintenance experience preferred (Multi-family experience is a definite Plus!)
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public on and off the property.
