Required Expectations
- Be a positive role model for all care giving staff and children
- Be customer service oriented and professional
- Be warm and nurturing with children
- Attend all required staff meetings, workshops and/or center functions
Responsibilities of Teacher’s Assistant
- Able to assume responsibility for children in small or large groups if necessary
- Able to use positive reinforcement as a form of behavioral guidance and management
- Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., diapering/restroom use, feeding, dressing)
- Help teachers prepare classroom and supplies for lessons
- Assist teachers with parent communication app updates
- Help staff with checking students in and out of the facility
- Set-up/Clean-up napping cots, Monitor children while napping
- Assist with light cleaning duties
Qualifications for Teacher’s Assistant
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year working with children, CDA or currently enrolled in and early childhood program preferred
- Able to maintain an overall positive and professional disposition
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Prepared to pass a state mandated background check

Pay – $9.00-$11.00/HR
