WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE AS A VETERINARY TECH - VET TECHNICIAN
In this rewarding animal care role, your day begins with preparing the clinic for appointments and procedures, ensuring everything is set up for the day. You assist our veterinarians with exams and surgeries, handling tasks such as venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring. Your responsibilities also include dental care, surgical prep, lab work, and patient recovery. As you interact with clients, you offer guidance on pet care and support them with clear communication. our clinic as well as our patients thrive thanks to the experienced and compassionate care you provide!
DO YOU HAVE WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for dedicated animal lovers who meet the following requirements to join our animal care team:
- 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician
- Open availability and a flexible approach to your schedule
We're also looking for someone who has experience with:
- Venipuncture
- Read IV Catheter Placement
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical prep/assistance
- Dental radiographs and prophylaxis
- Lab work prep and pharmacy
- Patient recovery and compassionate care
- Animal restraint
- Client education
