Host

BeefBar, an upscale restaurant in Tribeca, is seeking an exceptional Host to join our front-of-house team. In this role, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive each shift with a positive attitude, prepared to work and learn.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our reservation systems, policies, and restaurant hours.
• Efficiently check-in guests, update wait lists, and escort customers to their tables.
• Provide coat check assistance and perform regular table/restroom checks.
• Communicate with management regarding any seating delays or guest issues.
• Assist other restaurant stations as requested by leadership.
• Build relationships with regular guests and industry community members.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with reservations systems, Sevenrooms preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

The pay rate for this role is $20-$22 per hour.
