Farm Operations/Technical Coordinator
Beer Family Farm, LLC is a progressive hog and grain operation located in Northern Indiana (Milford) that has been growing for nearly 40 years. We are committed to a faith based mentality with a culture that seeks to provide above average income, opportunity, and equity to those we serve and employ. We farm 3000 acres and have a Pioneer seed dealership as well as a 2000 sow farrow-finish operation. Our equipment is well maintained and our swine facilities are newer, and mostly built over the last fifteen years.
We are looking to add a business minded team player with management skills who is proficient in selecting, integrating, and optimizing technology as well as knowledgeable in agronomics. What you will be doing:
- Computer Data Entry/Generating Reports
- Ag Analytics and change management
- Specific Maintenance and Repairs
- Supporting livestock operations (pigs)
- Developing Systems and Processes to increase efficiencies within the operation
- Participating in busy seasons by operating heavy farm equipment
- Selecting, integrating, and optimizing technology
This job is for you if you have:
- Prior experience operating farm equipment
- A history of progressive levels of responsibility and commitment to your profession
- Proven ability to keep detailed records and analyze data
- An Associates or Bachelor's degree in an Ag related field and/or equivalent work experience
- Strong work ethic with integrity and an overall view of the success and sustainability of the farm.
