The firm’s practice includes all aspects of Union-side labor and employment law, including representing public and private sector Unions, educators, employee benefit plans, and individual public and private sector employees, including wage and hour litigation. Our Sacramento office currently has an open position for an associate attorney whose practice will focus on Labor & Employment law. Applicants would ideally have 2-10 years of experience and preferably be admitted to the California Bar. In addition to a strong academic background, superior writing, and oral advocacy skills, applicants must share our commitment to the labor and worker’s rights movements. We welcome applicants with Union-related experience, but have also hired attorneys with experience in plaintiffs’ employment law and/or public interest law. Applicants should have completed labor and employment law courses.
The Firm offers competitive salary and generous benefits, as well as a congenial workplace. Compensation is commensurate with experience, beginning at $93,000 for first year attorneys (up to $130,000 for ninth year attorneys), and includes an excellent benefit package including employer-paid family medical/dental/vision, profit sharing, 401(k) match and student loan and commute assistance.
