Job Title: Part-Time Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist / Behavior Technician
Description: Behavior Solutions is currently seeking energetic, outgoing and reliable individuals to work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism. The ABA Therapist / Tutor position consists of implementing individualized educational and behavioral programming to include:
- Direct 1:1 therapy service in a child’s home, school, or natural environment.
- Teaching new academic, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
- Effectively responding to and minimizing difficult or disruptive behaviors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation of all outlined curriculum and behavioral treatment plans.
- Ongoing evaluation of progress toward goals and objectives.
- Reporting progress to the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
- Trial by trial data collection on all developmental goals and skills.
- Frequency/duration and descriptive analysis data on all aberrant behavior.
Wage: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Hours: Part Time. Dependent on the needs of our clients (Behavior Solutions cannot guarantee a specific number of hours per week). Applicant must be okay with traveling up to a 30 mile radius from home.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field.
- An engaging and high-energy teaching and interaction style.
- An interest in helping children and adolescents with special needs, including autism.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- A clean criminal background check.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Resume with two references.
Desired:
- BACB RBT Qualification
- At least one year of experience working with developmentally delayed populations.
- At least one year of ABA Experience utilizing Discrete Trials Training.'
