Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children with special needs, specifically those with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment goals and strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of client progress, session notes, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
