A new, grant-funded, full-time, Clinical Counselor position: This individual will be responsible for providing clinical services to incarcerated individuals at the LEC, and arranging follow-up services at BHSPC. The duties for this position could also include completing biopsychosocial assessments, providing individual therapeutic services, case management, facilitating group sessions and coordinating continuing care with referral sources.
The position will require graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in counseling or related area and extensive counseling experience, S.C. State licensure to provide counseling services preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be eligible to be certified as a Licensed Addictions Counselor in South Carolina and have some flexibility in regards to schedule worked and populations served. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
Salary : $44,000 - $55,700
