Job Duties :
- Manages the engineering software portfolio for Belcan US and International.
- Develops an engineering software asset strategy that balances cost-effective use and procurement of assets with agile software delivery that meets business needs.
- Responds quickly to end user requests for engineering software licenses or engineering software pricing.
- Collects, analyzes, summarizes, and makes recommendations on the cost-effective use of all engineering software assets.
- Proactively monitors engineering software license usage and takes quick action to increase or decrease software licenses or subscriptions as needed.
- Prioritizes engineering software requests according to customer and business impact.
- Builds relationships with software vendors to establish best pricing structures and excellent vendor procurement and support services to better serve our engineering teams and customers.
- Works closely and collaboratively with the ITSG Support and Service Delivery teams to quickly evaluate, procure, and install engineering software licenses and troubleshoot incidents related to licensing.
- Works on a daily basis with engineering teams, procurement and financial teams, IT teams, and vendors and is responsible for leading meetings as needed to meet software needs of the business.
- Proactively manages software renewals to avoid disruption.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $52,000 to $62,400. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
