Job Description:
The Lab Assistant perform routine analytical testing in a 24/7 laboratory environment, providing data for various purposes including process and quality control.
Responsibilities
* prepare and analyse samples using analytical equipment (pH meters, density meters, viscometers, etc.) and operating laboratory information systems.
* The role requires accurate record-keeping, compliance with ISO standards, daily instrument calibrations, and maintaining safety practices.
* Candidates should have knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot instrument issues.
* A background in chemical analyses and 4-6 years of experience is preferred, along with basic knowledge of HPLC and GC operations.
* Applicants must be flexible with shifts, including some overtime as the business needs.
