Position Overview

BELIEVE Circle City High School is launching an exciting new grant-funded initiative designed to deepen community partnerships, expand student opportunities, and drive key student outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and community-centered Program Administrator to lead and manage the implementation of this multi-year program.

This position will be responsible for driving all aspects of the grant's execution—from strategy development to budget oversight, community relationship building, and team management. The Program Administrator will play a central role in aligning the initiative’s goals with community needs, internal priorities, and grantor expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Grant Implementation

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of a new multi-year grant initiative in alignment with program goals and school priorities
  • Build and manage the internal implementation plan, ensuring all deliverables and timelines are met
  • Develop short- and long-term strategy for achieving outcomes outlined in the grant

Community Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and sustain strategic partnerships with community organizations, employers, and other external stakeholders to support program outcomes
  • Represent BELIEVE in community meetings and events on a weekly basis
  • Facilitate collaboration between school staff, families, and partners to ensure program success
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the school and the grantor organization

Team & Operations Management

  • Identify talent needs and build out an internal team to support implementation
  • Oversee internal project teams, providing guidance, accountability, and professional support
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with school leadership and operations to ensure alignment

Budget & Compliance

  • Track, monitor, and manage program budget in compliance with grant guidelines
  • Prepare and submit regular progress, financial, and outcome reports as required by the grantor
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance and documentation requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, nonprofit management, public administration, or related field
  • 5 years of professional experience in program management, education, or community development
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and building community partnerships
  • Experience with grant-funded programs, including compliance and reporting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfort with hybrid work and weekly travel around Indianapolis to meet with partners

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience working in or alongside charter schools or K-12 public education
  • Deep understanding of Indianapolis’ community landscape

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
