Job Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of production workers to produce orders from Customer Service. Assumes accountability and responsibility for achieving production goals, food safety, safe operation, team development and product quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise and train your people so that they’re fully capable of implementing the Company’s policies and procedures. Regularly meet with them to evaluate their performance. Establish yearly educational plan for each employee based on their needs. Perform annual personnel evaluation and recommend goals.
Education And/Or Experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
Understanding personal computer applications and tools.
Food Safety
Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid driver’s License.

- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Interprets job orders to workers and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records.
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Performs activities of workers supervised.
