Make Ready Technician

• 2 years of related maintenance experience and/or training
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well with others
• Strong knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices
• Proficiency in all areas of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, carpentry, locks and appliances.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Availability to rotate in an "on-call" weekends for emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• As a Make Ready Technician, you'll play a key role in preparing vacant units for occupancy and performing essential repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
• Inspecting vacated apartment units and completing make-ready checklist
• Preparing apartments for tour/next resident move-in, including lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors when necessary
• Changing A/C filters
• Performing painting duties
• Maintaining the work order system, logs, and other records as needed
• Tracking and completing service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities
• Performing timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.
• Displaying a friendly and courteous attitude towards residents and other employees
• Performing building and common area upkeep daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
