Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Pizza Cashier to join our team. The Pizza Cashier will be responsible for taking orders from customers, handling cash and card transactions, and ensuring that customers receive prompt and accurate service. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable handling cash and using computerized point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they approach the counter, take their orders, and process payments
• Answer customer questions about menu items and daily specials
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, including making change, handling credit card transactions, and operating a cash register
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the front counter and dining area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including handling and storing food properly
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
• Assist with food preparation and other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a food service setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Comfortable with handling cash and operating computerized point-of-sale systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
