Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Office Director to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive experience in office management, human resources, and administrative functions. This role involves supervising staff, managing vendor relationships, coordinating schedules, and maintaining efficient office procedures to support organizational goals.
Duties
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s office including, but not limited to, managing employees’ needs, paperwork, office supplies, and financial information.
- Responsible for communication for the company including managing email, mail, and phone communication as well as relaying important information to employees and department heads and communicating with upper management.
- Administrator of the Buildertrend program, managing features such as the creation and closing of jobs, weekly Toolbox Talk management, and weekly timecard processing.
- Administrator and manager of all employee services, including health insurance.
- Lead and supervise administrative staff, including front desk personnel and clerical teams
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office supplies and services
- Oversee front desk operations ensuring professional phone etiquette and excellent customer service
- Develop and implement office policies to improve efficiency and team collaboration
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or related roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in calendar management tools, Office 365 and multi-line phone systems
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong filing and clerical skills
- Professional demeanor with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
