ACCOUNTING REPRESENTATIVE
The Accounting Representative is responsible for coordinating and completing departmental audits on a daily basis. The Accounting Representative will work closely with department managers and other Representatives to generate accurate audits on a daily basis. The Accounting Representative will learn and train others to gain better departmental efficiency in conducting daily audits and special projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.)
- Gather all available documents on a daily basis from each department for auditing
- Audit daily information from automated systems
- Be able to conduct cage, slots, table games, hotel, and F&B audits independently
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in completion of audits
- Review and revise all audits as necessary
- Develop and maintain analysis spreadsheets
- Prepare documentation for exceptions
- Ability to problem solve on a daily basis
- Conduct investigations as necessary
- Exercise initiative in process improvements
- Maintain a high level of integrity in all transactions
- Responsible for correctly maintaining records of work completed
- Follow all safety standards, laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and Internal Controls for the Casino Queen
- Must be able to apply knowledge gained from training, education and work experience
- Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work requested by the CFO
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED
- College degree preferred
- Candidate must have flexible hours and able to work every other weekend
- Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- 10-key experience
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Able to effectively communicate verbally in English
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License
