Clubhouse Server (Part-Time)

Job Overview: 

A Clubhouse Server (CS) reports to Food & Beverage Management and is responsible to deliver a personalized member dining experience, while executing daily food and beverage operational duties. The CS will ensure members and guests have a memorable dining experience, from start to finish. As a private club, we pride ourselves on providing exemplary service to each and every person. The CS is responsible for accurately taking food and drink orders, for properly ringing them into the Point of Sale system, and for delivering a service experience that meets club standards. The CS will bring their best self to work every day to be the best teammate and employee possible 

Core Duties:

• Greet members and guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Serves all members in a proper and efficient manner, using names as much as possible and making sure they have an overwhelmingly positive experience while dining in the Clubhouse.
• Executes the proper billing procedures to ensure accurate billing of member and guest services. 
• Assists in the setup and break down of ALL areas needed for food and beverage service on a daily basis in and around the Clubhouse. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Greets all members and their guests as they arrive with a friendly and warm demeaner, using their name. (Remembering the last names of members, as well as the names of their children, is a very important part of the member experience) 
• Ensures that food and drink orders are accurately written down and input into the POS system, using correct member name and number, to ensure accurate billing during each shift. 
• Ensures all chits and hand-written tickets match before entering into the POS system; adds needed detail to all chits to ensure an appropriate backup is available for the accounting team. 
• Able to efficiently serve food and drinks in a courteous manner, offering suggestions on things such as daily specials, deserts, and wine and beverages, as appropriate. 
• Communicates any food allergies or questions a table may have about the cuisine to the kitchen to ensure a safe and healthy dining experience for the members and guests.
• Keeps a close eye on ticket times to ensure timely service is provided 
• Responsible for clearing dishes from tables, as necessary, always making sure the table is kept tidy and service is performed to proper standards 
• Responsible for making sure that workspaces are kept clean and organized at all times, including all shared team areas. 
• Assists with reset of tables that may be necessary for food and drink service. 
• Attends all pre-shift meetings to properly understand the workflow for the upcoming shift.
• Develops a strong knowledge of both the food and beverage menus offered in the Clubhouse. 
• Responsible for the day-to-day setup of Clubhouse Member Dining operations: setup of all stations, tables, wares and ensuring that cleanliness is always maintained.
• Performs appropriate clean up and all closing duties as assigned by your supervisor on duty.
• Assists coworkers with side work at the beginning and end of shift, making sure to seek supervisor approval prior to leaving a scheduled shift. 
• Responsible for making sure that workspaces are kept clean and organized at all times, including all shared team areas. 
• Collaborates effectively and respectfully with peers, in both front of house and back of the house, to ensure a wonderful member & staff experience. 
• Maintains a clean personal appearance at all times, following approved hygiene policies laid out in the Employee Handbook 
• Always displays a positive attitude. 
• Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by your supervisor on duty. 

Requirements

• Must have the ability to comply with county health regulations regarding Hepatitis A vaccinations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
