Description

Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in implementing best practices for preventative maintenance and ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and reduce the need for reactive maintenance, all while embracing and promoting the unique culture of Bellmont Cabinets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preventative Maintenance Strategy:
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve a preventative maintenance program that includes regular equipment inspections, servicing, and repairs to prevent breakdowns and ensure long-term asset reliability.
    • Establish maintenance schedules, procedures, and checklists for equipment, systems, and facilities to proactively address potential issues.
  2. Team Leadership and Culture:
    • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce that embodies the values and culture of Bellmont Cabinets.
    • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department, aligning with Bellmont Cabinets' commitment to excellence.
  3. Asset Management:
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and assets, ensuring all maintenance records are up-to-date.
    • Develop and oversee a robust asset lifecycle management process to optimize the utilization of assets while controlling costs, in line with Bellmont Cabinets' sustainable practices.
  4. Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with external service providers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services and supplies while upholding Bellmont Cabinets' commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes when necessary.
  5. Budget Management:
    • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and tracking expenditures, consistent with Bellmont Cabinets' financial stewardship.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose investments in new technologies or strategies for improved efficiency, in alignment with Bellmont Cabinets' innovation and growth initiatives.
  6. Root Cause Analysis:
    • Investigate equipment failures and other maintenance-related issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, reflecting Bellmont Cabinets' dedication to continuous improvement and quality.
  7. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices, reflecting Bellmont Cabinets' unwavering commitment to safety.
    • Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and promote a culture of safety within the team, in accordance with Bellmont Cabinets' focus on employee well-being.
  8. Performance Metrics:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities, tracking metrics such as equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and work order completion times.
    • Regularly analyze data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement, in line with Bellmont Cabinets' culture of accountability and excellence.

 

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, with a focus on preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of maintenance professionals while upholding Bellmont Cabinets' core values.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities for root cause analysis, embodying Bellmont Cabinets' culture of innovation.
