Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU) is seeking a dependable, energetic, and results driven representative to assist members as a Part-Time Teller. For over 100 years, we've made New Hampshire our home and have provided thoughtful guidance and customized solutions to help our members with their unique financing needs.
The Job
Walking through BCCU's branches, you will immediately notice that this is not your typical credit union. Our "pod style" dialogue banking model allows for our Tellers to be more diverse in their duties and offer our members more products and services without transferring them to another department. In short, BCCU has eliminated the "traditional" teller line to give a more overall positive experience for both our members and our Tellers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing account information, professionally handling the member's daily credit union needs, and provide a variety of transaction services to members
- Refers and cross sells BCCU's products and services to members and nonmembers
- Perform transactions requested by members including but not limited to: deposits, check cashing, transfers, loan inquiries, loan advances, loan payments and payoffs
- Have accurate cash handling skills and a desire to provide excellent customer service
- Balance and maintain cash drawer as set forth in the policy manual
- You may be asked to work in one of our other branches if there is a need
Qualifications
- Basic mathematical skills required (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing)
- Sales and/or previous financial institution experience is preferred
- Must be comfortable with technology, handling customer calls, and have a demonstrated track record of exceptional customer service
