POSITION OVERVIEW
Belmar Pharmacy is seeking a Prescriber Acquisition Specialist driven by supporting the growth of our compounding pharmacy by converting provider leads into revenue-generating accounts. This role is focused on engaging healthcare professionals (B2B) and guiding them from initial contact through their first order placement.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who is comfortable on the phone, highly detail-oriented, and excels at both follow-up and time management. They must be disciplined, self-directed, and capable of adapting to ongoing changes in our industry. This role requires excellent documentation in our CRM (Salesforce), strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a steady flow of leads through the conversion process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Ensure all Leads are contacted on the same day or within 24 hrs.
Engage and qualify provider leads via phone, email, SMS, and other outreach methods, clearly understanding their clinical and business needs.
Convert provider interest into active ordering accounts by clearly communicating the value of our compounding pharmacy, products, and services.
Manage leads from first contact through to first order placement, maintaining consistent follow-up and timely engagement.
Document all activity and lead progression thoroughly and accurately in Salesforce; ensure all required fields and workflows are completed.
Build rapport with prescribers while maintaining a professional, courteous, and consultative approach.
Identify and overcome barriers to conversion; collaborate with internal teams to improve the lead engagement process.
Utilize available tools and resources to enhance profiling strategies and optimize sales efforts.
Ensure scheduled tasks connections are set and conducted on time for assigned leads/accounts.
Take responsibility for your schedule and daily task management while meeting or exceeding conversion targets.
Stay up to date on our products, services, and industry trends through continuous learning and self-study.
Be willing and able to prospect and pursue new leads in addition to assigned ones as needed.
Generate new lead profiles coming through various channels outside of Marketing, including research and outreach.
Ensuring upon new account setup, the formulary and educational links are promptly dispatched via email.
Update and maintain Salesforce profiles with relevant data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the platform. For example, updating addresses, new location(s), or provider(s) information in Salesforce.
Additional Responsibilities:
Handling pricing requests for off-formulary and commercial products, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
Entering and managing projections in Salesforce for products in demand, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data.
Prospecting when asked for new business may be required. Must be comfortable with cold calling.
Comply with all appropriate company, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations.
Integrate and work with the team, being able to perform the allocated portion of the tasks while managing time effectively.
Utilizing all available technology resources daily such as CRM Salesforce, Power BI, Modus, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365, and BrainShark.
Performs all other related duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and CGO
