Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support our event planning team. The ideal candidate will assist in the coordination, execution, and management of various events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for attendees. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, and transportation.
• Help manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
• Prepare event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage.
• Attend events to provide on-site support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
• Gather feedback from attendees post-event to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
• Maintain an organized database of event information, contacts, and resources.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
