Beloit College seeks a full time security officer with a positive friendly attitude and the ability to work professionally and effectively in a diverse campus community. 40 hr/week position, requires availability to work all shifts, seven days a week, including holidays. Primary responsibilities include routine foot patrol, emergency response, responding to complaints, writing reports, service calls, safety inspections and other duties as assigned. Must be able to communicate orally in a helpful friendly manner and to communicate effectively in writing.
High School diploma, some college helpful. Must pass a criminal background check, have a driver's license, a good driving record and reachable for emergencies. First Aid and CPR certification required within one year of hire. Prior security training or experience is helpful. Training and uniform equipment provided.
