About Ben Porat Yosef (BPY)

Ben Porat Yosef is more than a school — it’s a sacred partnership between families and educators, a dynamic learning environment, and a deeply rooted community grounded in Torah values and academic excellence. Since its founding in 2001, BPY has grown into a premier yeshiva day school in Northern New Jersey, serving approximately 500 children from Early Childhood through Eighth Grade with a fully integrated curriculum of General and Judaic Studies.

Located in Paramus, New Jersey, BPY is a warm, nurturing, and vibrant Modern Orthodox institution that honors the individual potential of every child. The school actively fosters Ahavat Yisrael, deep Hebrew fluency, a love for Torah and mitzvot, and the tools to navigate both the Jewish and general world with confidence and compassion. With students from across Bergen County and beyond, BPY reflects the richness of our greater Jewish community while remaining focused on a shared vision: raising the next generation of committed, curious, and compassionate Jewish leaders.

This position is responsible for fostering the culture of philanthropy that supports our educational excellence, community warmth, and long-term growth.  BPY’s growth has been made possible through the generosity and commitment of our parent body, alumni families, and broader Jewish community. Our Annual Campaign, celebration dinner, spring celebration, and capital campaign reflect a community of stakeholders who are deeply invested in the school’s future. This position will collaborate closely with Communications, Admissions, Finance, and Educational Leadership to ensure that every message, campaign, and event reflects BPY’s mission, values, and voice.

This role reports to the Associate Head of School and is supported by a dedicated committee of volunteers and lay leaders.
