What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Observation Technician position at Benchmark Group?
The Site Observation Tech will perform site survey and/or feasibility studies to collect and/or verify Client and site information, including preliminary conditions, design needs, requirements, and cost. The goal is to document site conditions for upcoming projects. This individual will also read and interpret design documents, identify code issues, and assist in cross-discipline observations. Communicating and collaborating with team members, Program Manager, other disciplines, and Client to obtain necessary information for construction is of great important to ensure the project and team deadlines are met.

Minimum Qualifications (Level assigned is based on experience)
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Understanding of the Construction or A/E industry
Advanced Qualifications
3 years specialized training/work experience in the Construction or A/E industry or related field.
6 years specialized training/work experience in the Construction or A/E industry or related field.
2 years post-secondary education in Construction Management or A/E and 4 years applicable work experience.
