Construction Estimator
We are a growing ADA/Architectural Sign company located in the Weatherford area, primarily working in the Commercial/Public Construction Industry.
Currently, we are seeking a Construction Sign Estimator.
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction/Sign Estimator. This person will be responsible for estimating all costs of commercial projects.
· Calculate expected job costs using labor and material pricing as well as historical data.
· Work with Project Managers on take-offs
· Responsible for accurate and timely estimating and management of assigned projects
· Ensure projects are bid with accurate pricing, scope, specification, and production rates.
· Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
· Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.
Requirements
· Ability to read plans & specs
· Able to read and interpret drawings in order to prepare detailed estimates showing all costs.
· 3 to 5 years experience as a construction or sign estimator
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe
· Must be able to work independently and meet daily deadlines
· Worked as an estimator at a general contracting company or a sign company doing work in the construction industry.
· Highly motivated self-starter
· Organized, with excellent time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to take coaching and feedback
· Forward-looking, able to see the problem well in advance, having a solution in place before a crisis.
· Ability to work in a fast pace environment with the capability to switch tasks with short notice.
Compensation: Depending on Experience

Travel: May be required to travel when applicable. Must be able to read maps, provide a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
