SERVICE MANAGER

POSITION

Benedict Sales & Service in Altoona, WI is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our Service Department in the Service Manager position!

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Service Manager directs the day-to-day activities of Service Department field staff, ensuring the department is performing efficiently and effectively to meet customer expectations. This position requires excellent communication, prioritization, & organization skills along with the ability to utilize resources and find solutions to complex technical questions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Execute tactical daily operations through effective communication, organization, and leadership.
• Provide technical support to a team of both entry-level and experienced technicians.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of 20 technician direct reports.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Promote preventative maintenance agreements and drive service sales.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Demonstrate the company purpose everyday - Go the extra mile to connect business to family!

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5 years industry related experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Strong leadership aptitude, supervisory experience preferred
• Self-starter with excellent communication and customer service skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Valid Class D driver’s license and commercial insurability
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 Certification a plus
