The Dallas based On-Site Representative (OSR) has a permanent assignment for oversight responsibilities for Outsourced Vendors and must be filled by an A&P certificated mechanic. While performing this assignment, the individual will be directed by and has responsibility to the Manager of Heavy Maintenance Operations for inspection procedures, techniques and methods used in maintaining aircraft duties.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that all necessary paperwork and log entries during his shift are completed.
- Performs the delegated duties of the Manager of Heavy Maintenance Operations to ensure all work performed by the Outsourced Vendor is airworthy.
- Examines assigned aircraft flight log books and work forms prior to the aircraft's induction to establish any additional work to be accomplished.
- Reviews the applicable aircraft flight log to ascertain that maintenance has been properly cleared and completed.
- Conducts inspections on aircraft and related systems as necessary to assist the Outsourced Vendor.
- Any items found unsatisfactory as a result of these inspections will be entered on the appropriate documentation. Items affecting airworthiness or deemed necessary to re-inspect, will be designated and re-inspected to ascertain that the work performed by the Outsourced Vendor has been accomplished in accordance with accepted practices and quality standards.
- Ensures that all items listed within the applicable aircraft flight logs and appropriate documentation have been properly signed for by approved Outsource Vendor Personnel prior to releasing an aircraft for passenger service.
- Responsible for the legibility, correctness, and completeness of applicable aircraft flight log entries and applicable documentation in accordance with procedures established by the Company.
- The OSR shall be responsible for all items accepted by him.
- Reports to Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector all matters adversely affecting the airworthiness of flight equipment.
- The OSR will act as the approved Company representative.
- The OSR will be available via mobile phone in the need by the Outsourced Vendor for immediate work approval or issue needing immediate input.
PREFERRED JOB SKILLS:
- Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and required company authorizations
- Demonstrated technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this position Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience as a certificated mechanic
- Demonstrated positive attitude toward productivity, safety, and quality of maintenance
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and government-issued passport with a driving record in good standing
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
