What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Nurse (Monday-Friday, 3pm-6pm) position at Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School?
**This position may be worked 5 days per week, 3pm-6pm or we may be able to split the days between multiple nurses, pending schedule and availability**
Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School seeks a nurse to staff our after school program and:
- Care for sick and injured students and faculty, dismiss ill or injured students as appropriate
- Work to create and maintain an educational environment that is safe for each student, considering their medical diagnosis
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Document care provided
- Collaborate with parents and school staff regarding student health issues as they arise. This may include issues related to illness, injury, health promotion, accident or illness prevention, or other issues relevant to the scope of nursing practice in a school
- Perform other duties as assigned, as appropriate for RN licensure
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-6:00pm.
