As the Director of Contractor Recruiting at Bennett Family of Companies, you will lead and oversee the entire contractor recruiting team, ensuring that we attract, engage, and onboard top-tier talent to drive our business forward. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of 8-10 recruiters in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, ensuring they meet performance targets and uphold our standards of excellence.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the recruiting strategy, optimizing processes, and enhancing the overall candidate experience. Your leadership will foster a culture of exclusivity, where team members are motivated to excel and contribute to our shared success. This position reports directly to the VP of Capacity Development.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in leading high-volume recruiting, sales, operations, or retention teams in the transportation or logistics industry.
· Experience recruiting independent contractors
· Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies that yield high conversion rates.
· Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present the company’s vision and value proposition.
· High level of initiative, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and FCRA compliance; familiarity with Tenstreet, AS400, and TMS systems preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
