What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union?
The Bennington Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking applications for a Bus Driver. This position will have the responsibility of a designated bus route in the morning and afternoon of school days with the possibility of additional driving throughout the day. Any offers of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, fingerprinting, and physical. If you are interested in this role, we are more than willing to train the right candidate as long as they meet the below minimum qualifications.
Compensation starts at $22.00 per hour (potential for more depending on years of experience) with benefits.
Responsibilities:
Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times
Obey all traffic laws
Perform pre/post trip inspections of the bus or vehicle
Ensure the safety of students at all times
