What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Attendant position at Benson Hotel?
The historic Benson Hotel is seeking a Valet Attendant. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, has a pleasant demeaner, enjoys working in a team atmosphere and can provide excellent customer service.
This is a full-time or part-time, Union position that pays $15.75 per hour plus tips.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to park guest vehicles, assist with luggage, drive in a busy downtown environment
- Must have good communication skills, written and verbal
- Must possess a clean driving record
- Prior driving experience a plus
- Days and shifts vary
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk and run to retrieve cars as well as stand, up to 8 hours per day
- Night Porter hours are 11 pm – 7 am; shifts will vary
