About us
BENSWIC is a sports performance training studio located in Harlem, New York. Our studio includes state-of-the-art strength room, vertimax, stability equipments and much more. While we focus primarily on private/semi-private group training for the youth athlete population 10 to 18 years old, we also offer 1-on-1 skill instructions, and team training, adult fitness training, and personal training for adults and youth.
Our sports performance training programs offer clients the ability to improve their performance and reduce their risk of injury in a dynamic, fast-paced, and enjoyment training environment. As a sports performance coach, you will inspire and empower the people in our community to make positive health choices and change their lives by joining our team in creating a fun, high-energy atmosphere for athletes to train like a pro, with the pros.
Responsibilities of this position include implementation of the BENSWIC training programs; member retention through outstanding training performance and communication; and extensive outreach and marketing skills.

- Can master our signature training programs, individualized movement assessment, and modify as needed for individual clients

The perfect candidate will be someone with…
- A degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Strength and Conditioning Coach certification by NSCA-CSCS
- 1-2 years experience training with clients either one-on-one or in a group setting at a high school or private sector strength & conditioning facility; and/or collegiate/professional athletic experience
- A passion for helping people reach their goals
- A great attitude and people skills
- A strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal communication skills backed by good writing skills
- A passion for sports, health, and human performance

Qualifications
- Strength and Conditioning Coach certification by NSCA-CSCS; Preferred
- Degree in the field of Exercise Science or related (Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, etc): REQUIRED
- 1-2 years experience training with clients either one-on-one or in a group setting at a high school or private sector strength & conditioning facility; and/or collegiate/professional athletic experience

Compensation: $24-30/hour based on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Part-time (opportunity for more hours by scheduling Adult Personal Training, Off-site Clients and Virtual).
