Job Position

· 6-8 hours a day
Job Qualifications
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)
· Quickbooks Premier desktop: 2-3 years (Preferred)
· Microsoft Office (Preferred)
· Bookkeeping Experience: 2-3 years (Preferred)
Job Responsibilities
· Reconciliation of all bank accounts on a monthly basis.
· Ensure all deposits and expenditures are recorded in Quickbooks.
· Manage accounting transactions in Quickbooks, including bank deposits, bills and ACH transactions.
· Prepare checks and electronic payments.
· Prepare and file monthly sales/use tax reports.
· Posting daily transactions to the general ledger.
· Work with outside Payroll service.
· Enter/post payroll journal entries
· Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Overseeing duties of assistant bookkeeper
· Prepares monthly journal entries, corrects coding (as needed) to ensure proper, consistent treatment is applied to financial transactions.
· Ensure proper retention, filing and handling of accounting records.
