Project Manager, Arizona Regional Projects
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to take charge of regional commercial mechanical and plumbing projects throughout the company’s three Arizona regions. This position manages the planning, procurement, execution, and completion of projects in Cochise County, Pima County, and Maricopa County. This role will be based in Phoenix, AZ. Occasional to frequent travel is to be expected to the various regions, but will generally be at the Project Manager’s discretion. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Specifically, we need someone to:
- Understand commercial mechanical/HVAC systems
- Manage the following with accuracy and timeliness:
- Submittals
- Requests For Information (RFI)
- Contracts and subcontracts
- Project schedules
- Material & equipment procurement
- Project budgets
- Change requests and change orders
- Customer billing and subcontractor billing review
- Lead meetings among BEI employees, subcontractors, and clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other industry professionals
- Understand contract drawings and specifications, especially mechanical
- Lead project safety culture
It’d be great if you had:
- Direct mechanical project management experience
- Additional knowledge and experience in plumbing, building automation, and other MEP related trades
- Proven negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Oracle Net Suite ERP, Salesforce CRM, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and other business or construction management software.
